When creating a web page, you can optionally upload it to an FTP server so that others on the internet can view it. Regardless of whether you upload it or not, the web page will still be created on your computer and you can view it without having to be connected to the internet. Note that some program features, like area maps, require that the web page be uploaded. You can launch an external application prior to the FTP by specifying the RunExeBeforeFtp Misc Option. If you don't currently have access to an FTP server, click here for instructions for signing up with Tripod, a free web hosting provider. Upload To The FTP Server Check this box to upload the web page to the selected FTP server, in addition to creating a local copy. A web page does not have to exist on a server. Web pages can be created on and viewed from your local computer without having to be connected to the internet. Note: If you're uploading and if a given file exists on the FTP server, you'll be prompted whether to overwrite it. Back to the top FTP Servers This drop down list contains all currently configured FTP servers. Select the one where you want to upload the web page. Back to the top Test FTP Server Click this button to test the currently displayed FTP server. The configuration items tested include the FTP server name, FTP port, username, password and whether the initial server directory exists. Back to the top Edit FTP Server Click this button to go to the settings area where you can edit this server or define a new one. Back to the top Post to a List of URLs Check this box to post information to each URL in a URL list. Click the 'Config' button to configure the settings. This option allows you to communicate with server side CGI scripts or with .NET Soap servers. Back to the top Send to a List of E-mail Addresses Check this box to send e-mail to each address in an e-mail list. Click the 'Config' button to configure the settings. This allows groups of people to more easily share their photos. Back to the top Back Click this button to go back to the previous step. Back to the top Next Click this button to go to the last step. Back to the top Exit End the program. Back to the top Right Clicking You can right click on the wizard forms or left click on the button in the lower left corner for quick access to other program features. These include previewing images, batch processing, viewing web pages, changing the appearance of web pages, configuring the program, viewing the error log, displaying help, displaying the About info, unlocking the demo, and exiting the program. |
